Bennett Lerner, Esq.

Bennett Lerner joined the Ades & Associates in December 2022 as an Associate Attorney. His profolio includes Banckruptcy, Cilvil, Consumer, Immigration, Personal Injury and Property Damage and Social Security for the DC Office. Bennett has over 30 years of expereince practicing poverty law in the Washington DC, Massachusetts, New Mexico and the Navajo and Zuni Reservations. His DC experience includes Managing Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services, directing a legal service clinic supported by Kirkland & Ellis, serving as adjunct faculty in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at the Catholic University School of Law, and teaching in the General Practice Clinic at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Law School as a Public Interest Fellow. Bennett also provided legal services in New Mexico and the Navajo and Zuni Reservations and had his own practice in Cambridge, MA., where the Massachusetts Bar Association awarded him his own Pro Bono Publico award for his work. He earned his JD from Northeartern University, Master of Arts in Teaching from UDC, and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Brandeis University. He is a memeber of the DC, MA, NM, and NY Bars. Bennett lives in Washington DC with his wife, daughter and dog.
